My class's tank is in a second grade room and, because of Thanksgiving and Christmas, my crabs have been on a stay-cation at another staff member's house. I had 2 molting at the time so I felt it was best to leave then there instead of moving the tank too much. They came back to the room on Monday. Today, Meemo emerged and climbed on top of a bucket. He sat watching the students play during inside recess.
The students thought thought it was funny that he went to sleep during our math test. Several asked if they could, too!
A little while later KC came out to see the children. KC is our tunnel expert but he climbed to the top of the Moss pit and hung out for a while.
Purple Crawler is still down molting....
