Updates!: Stella's Crabitat

Post by piratetoothgir » Tue Feb 13, 2018 5:25 pm

Anyone who might remember my crabitat before I updated it, visit this thread!
http://www.hermitcrabassociation.com/ph ... t#p1048620

Hi, and welcome to my latest update about my crab's tank!
Here's some new things that have happened to me lately.

Buying a new crab, and saving him from a troubled molt.
Getting some new supplies for the tank.
Making my two crabs get along with each other.

Recently, as in the last week, I was busy trying to finalize an adoption on five new hermit crabs.
Well, things happened, and I now parent some new babies!

Say hello two my five awesome crawlers, thanks to NLindsey!

Aww, so cute! Am I just seeing things, or does the crabby in the third picture have a leg segment missing? :) I love your crabitat! Looks very natural. Mine is all bright colours. :P

No, you aren’t seeing things, she’s got a missing segment from a molt.

Aww, poor baby. She has a lovely shell, though. :D And such bright colouring!

Yeah. She was perfectly fine before her molt but when she came up she was missing a leg segment.

Feel free to send me photos of your tat if you'd like.
She probably could have lost that segment while digging back up, who knows!

Looks like they are having a little conversation with each other.

“Hey can I sit there?” “No, that’s my spot, I was here first”

@GotButterflies what do you think of my newbies?

Thanks for noticing!
Yes, they've pinched in my heart and made a stay there, I love them so much!

They should love me even more tomorrow, I just got a 55 gallon, stand, and screen top for the babies!
My dad surprised me today with it. He gave me a long box and said, "Here's the beginning of your gift" I opened it, and it was the screen, and then he said "But there's one more thing you need"

There it was, the 55 gallon! I screamed, and just about cried when I saw it.
I'm too occupied to do it today, so I will set it up with everything I have tomorrow, then place some orders for new supplies!
