Yahoo.com mail server connection issues.
Apparently Yahoo just recently upgraded their service to run only on an SSL(Secure Socket Layer)connection which is supposed to be a secure connection type but since they have been enforcing this SSL policy is has caused a sever and persistent connection issue whereby users can not obtain any information from the Yahoo Mail client or server before their computers time the connection out and when this happens a message gets displayed on your screen that your connection was disrupted because of no server reply. There are so many people posting about this across multiple forums and social media sites and Yahoo wont do anything about getting these users back into their mail accounts. There's not a whole lot we the users can do except try to reset the TCP/IP stack which Windows 8 has a huge problem with in the first place because the values for these parameters are already set way too low by default which causes the computer to force a disconnect to any website your trying to view that doesn't communicate back with the computer in the allotted fifteen seconds this time needs to be increased to thirty seconds and under certain circumstances Windows 8 will see this issue and relay a TCP/IP value too high or too low error message and will set these parameters to what it thinks is the right values which will sometimes fix this particular issue. My mothers new desktop PC is Windows 8 PC and has been struggling with this TCP/IP issue as well as constant connection disruptions to our home network and just recently auto-reconfigured the built in wireless adapter in the computer because it was using the wrong settings which were the default settings.I'm so over Windows 8 and Yahoo isn't helping matters much with all these constant supposed service and security upgrades which are only serving to make our connections to the service more and more unstable.
