Sometimes you just have to just stick up for yourself and not let people boss you around when they are NOT your boss. Every time I was going to clean this lady would tell me did you know that there are meeting you have to go to, or their is on line classes you have to take, I have an e mail through the new clinics employer and I never get any of these notifications. I tried to tell her I can't go to these one meetings cause of my library job I just can't up and leave. I even called my administration over at the memorial hospital these are the people who bought the clinic I clean. She said we tape meetings for people that have other jobs and you view them on line. Great news for me! I told this to that lady and she still hounds me, I can go on Saturday..I told her I am busy. Well the last straw was this past week was I walk in and she says to me have you done your orientation yet? I'm like what are you talking ABOUT? She said we all have to do it, Meagan has done hers and you can't get out of it..I told her why is it you all know stuff and I don't? I was so mad! Mad cause I'm the last to know anything and her tone. So I emailed Shelley my administration lady asked her why I'm not getting notifications on this, people over here wait to tell me until the last min about stuff and its like they order me. Well I got a call from human resources Dan, he told me because I'm only there 11-12hrs per pay period and under the situation I was hired(I have the library job ) and none of that stuff has nothing to do with me that I was excused from all forums and meetings. I asked about this orientations things and I don't have to go to it either. My only contact w them is w Shelley for cleaning supplies or if I have an other issue. When I cleaned that night I left a nice but firm note stating that I contacted Shelley to find out why I am the last to know anything around here , She said I am EXCUSED from all forums and meetings. If there are any Dan or Shelly will contact me. No, I do not have to attend the orientation...I asked..Laurie..I didn't think it was to grouchy, but I wanted to make it clear I was getting pretty sick and tired of them being my boss when my boss is now in carthage.
