HCA: Hermit Crab Association

2 weeks ago I get a call from my boss saying she is selling the clinic to big whigs in carthage, part of memorial hospital. Part of the deal was she keeps her staff( yeah) I have my job! But all the paper work.. why do I have to fill out job application? I can see back ground check etc. Then they want to do checks electronic way I say no way! I'm afraid if it goes in I won't be able to get it out! Over bearing controlling hubby, tell me he will get it when?? Like I can't go in and get my money! Then those tax papers..fill in line bla bla subtracting this line devide by, I don't understand it!! Oh then now since this is a big deal company, you have hours in a week period you qualify for things.. Well guess what I get? A big fat 0!! I would have to get at least 24 in 2 week pay period, I'm lucky if I get 10! I used to get at least 2 hours holiday pay just because Monica was nice, now I don't get that, sick leave, NOTHING! I need to ask some questions..do I have to punch in at the same time everyday or can I clean at my convenience? Can I skip Friday if I want to and clean Saturday? What do I do if I am sick? Who is cleaning for me. The only positive thing I heard so far is that the guy told Monica we can do something about her pay she said not lower it? He said oh no..I still make min wage there. I am prob the lowest pd housekeeper there is. A reg housekeeper that goes to homes around here will charge up to 20$ an hour! I make min wage! I make more at the library and work less, it's more brain work than physical..

If your still wanting to work and they have to do an electronic deposit you could always open your very own separate account that you hubby doesn't have access to. However I don't suggest keeping secrets.I don't think your going to want to keep your job though it sounds like it'll be everything you don't want with nothing you do want. Another words more of a hassle than its worth.

It's 80$ more than I wouldn't have..as far as opening my own account that's out you have to have a min balance and I wouldn't make it and be able to enjoy any of my money I did make.

That's odd, here most banks and/or credit unions offer some kind of "free" checking where no balance is required. Or a savings account usually requires like $25 to stay in and your allowed to withdraw a few times a month. I would do some checking around to see what's available that maybe you don't know about.
