Anyone use cloth diapers for their babies?

Post by jenok » Fri Mar 20, 2015 8:33 am

I'm very seriously thinking about using cloth diapers at least part of the time with my new baby due in July mostly to save money. BUT I have never used them before and I'm leery about them any info/opinions would be appreciated. What little bit I've read is they are a lot easier then they used to be years ago but I still have that fear of them leaking everywhere and then the idea of poo going into the washer.

Back in the day..23 years ago..I thought I was going to use them to save money. It lasted about 3 days! They crap in them , you have to rinse them out and then put them in a bucket with water w soap and then you have crap smelling hands and house. You have to rely watch the hand washing. If you go anywhere then you have a cloth one to deal with. You have to deal w buying plastic pants they don't let your skin breathe, don't keep the pee and poop either. You can try it but you won't be happy
