First time making an ISO tank. No idea what to do

Post by Hermitcrabgirl » Tue Dec 31, 2013 3:40 am

How do I make an ISO tank? Do I put water and food dishes? I really don't know what to do. My crab is semi buried in my normal tank should I still move him to an ISO? If so, how do I setup an ISO tank, what should the conditions be (humidity and heat wise)? Any tips will help because right now, I'm clueless.

Welcome to the forums! And no, you shouldn't move him if he's buried. Click here to learn how to make an ISO tank.

We don't use sponges anymore. Omit that. Never dig up a molter to move them to an other tank, you will stress them out and their chances of dying are very high. I have only used a iso tank when a molter has came up and my bully crab won't leave them alone and during mating season. I have 3 boys and one girl

Hi! The link doesn't work because the site no longer exists. Land hermit crabs and HCA merged some months ago. I'm assuming since the OP and this thread is 2 years old, the page linked to was deleted.
