how do i post my own picture next to my name?

i want to have my own picture that is visible to everybody, next to my name. no avatar, just a pic from internet, can someone tell me how this is done?

Well we do have some rules as to what can be used as your avatar/personal picture the images can not be rolling/scrolling/or moving in any manner as these GIF type files eat up way to much bandwidth on the forums here not to mention they are plain distracting.lolWe have a policy prohibiting the use of vulgar, sexual, religious or adult themed pictures as well.You will need to save the picture you want to use to your hard drive then go through the avatar selection panel here and go to custom then use the look up feature to bring up your computers storage, next find the file you want to use and apply it, you may have to resize it.It wont apply the new selection you've just made until you exit and re-start your browser, you may have to clear our site cookies you can do this through your profile panel it should be an option near the bottom of the panel.Choose step four this should cause the new picture selection to show if not please let me know.
