Must have been 50 or more stuffed in a small tank. I asked if they new better. They said that painted shells sell better. Hmmmm.so sad.

This is unfortunately the truth, the companies that sell hermitcrabs and their accessories use bright colors to market to small children and impulse purchasers and most of the manufacturers know that the paints and dyes are harmful but do it anyway.
