My first loss, Big E.

I lost my first crab in late Oct. I had high hopes for Big E. He was the biggest ecuadorian crab I had ever personally seen. I'm glad for the three weeks he was with me. I watched him tank up on food while all the other Es were going down to molt. I watched his little claw tips turn dull, ashy and white. I watched him become so slow that he couldn't even climb anymore. I prayed for a molt. Even a topside molt. I believe that PPS was just too much for him though. I'm not sure exactly what day he passed as I was trying to leave him undisturbed. I've felt this loss alot more than I ever thought I that I would. Thanks, Abby. You were a tremendous help and a very calming voice of reason. Big E., you were a beautiful crab that will always be remembered.
