[Kharasmatic]

one of my hermies died a little while ago... i keep them at school..they are kind of our class mascots...i bring them home on weekends and stuff. one day i noticed that he was a little lethargic, so i figured he was going to molt. i put him in the my iso tank (which doubles as my travel tank when there going home) and the next day i found him on top of the sand, right where i left him. so, i figured maybe he was going to do a topside molt. i had never had a crabbie molt before, so it was a new experience. i noticed he smelled a bit, but i knew that hermies smell a little when there molting. Every day, the smell got stronger. I finally picked him up and he fell out of his shell. i saw that it was not only his exo, but his whole body that fell out. his feelers weren't moving, and he didn't react when i misted him a little. i was forced to accept that he died. i don't know if he was sick, or if he just died because he didn't molt. i currently have two crabbies that are molting, and i am very very worried about them. i only hope that they will live to rejoin their two other crabbie "brothers" in the main tank. they have both chosen to do underground molts, so maybe this time it will be different. I can only hope. I really miss my crabbie. I called him "big one" because at the time, he was my biggest crabbie, about the size of a mini cd. well all i have to say now is im srry for all of the people whose crabs have died, and i feel you loss.
