Sprout was killed

I introduced Sprout into the crabitat yesterday and she seemed to be doing well. While spot cleaning the crabitat today, I found her shell broken in half and Sprout nowhere to be found. None of the smaller shells had been used or disturbed and there was no trace of Sprout anywhere.I have to conclude that after her shell broke, Sprout was cannibalized by the other crabs before she could make it to a new one.
