I am on a budget. So, after building my own tat from free Lucite panels, I went to the beach and got hot, clean sand. (Fyi we have wild hermies in that area too.)

I then mixed with EE at 5:1 ratio.

All great!

Florida sand isn't that great either...it's hit & miss. Depends on where you go. Unfortunately some people think it's their ashtray and trash can. It's sad really. The dunes are protected when people watch them.

Thanks guys
I will definitely get some play sand tho. I came up with this idea with my dad. Just get the vacuum that we vacuum the cars with and suck all of the sand up! Easy Peasy! That way I don't have to scoop it out and spill it all over my floor when I am trying to transport it to a garbage bag! :hlol:
Happy Crabbin'!

Hey everyone.
I will try to get out tomorrow to get the sand. At my house we basically have info flooding in from everywhere. I don't have Facebook but my dad does and he follows a group of people that give off info, I belong to this awesome community, my very good friend has hermits as well and she might me joining this website soon and then of course the almighty internet!
Thank you all and If I didn't have you guys to tell me this, my hermits would have terrible lives!
Happy Crabbin'!
