Thanks for the pictures!!! They look awesome!!! (Hope the canning's going/went well! Now you've got me thinking about homemade ketchup...mmm... :D )

I like what you've done with the craft mesh! From what I can tell, you have craft mesh going from your pools to the sub, and on one end it's buried in the sand and on the other its buried under the rocks in the pool? Looks like that would stay in place well, and give the crabs a nice large ramp. I'll try it!

Now I'm noticing that you used a couple of those flexible reptile fake branches to secure the wood/cholla in the middle of the tank. I saw that in the store and was worried my crabs would eat it, but if it's working for you, then I think I'll try it. That could provide a variety of shapes for the crabbies and hold things together, while being easy for me to move around. Plus it's bigger and looks more natural than a lot of zip ties. :) Lots of crabbie fun!

Thanks for sharing! I've gotten some really great ideas - sometimes a picture really helps.

Glad it helped! The craft mesh is zip tied. The grapevine is blocking that part. I do use the jungle vines. :) My crabs like them. My crabs are too large to sit on them. They hang from them to climb them. Image

I love it! where are your crabs at? And what kind of barnacles are those/are they real/where did you get them? Was that a sand dollar in there?

Thanks Image My crabs hide during the day during this time of the year. They start coming up around 4 in the afternoon. I have a couple diurnal crabs, but I'm assuming they are molting.

Yes, the barnacles are real. I got one at a local beach shop, and the other from Richard's Shells Image

Yes, sand dollars are a good calcium source. I find my isopods love them as much as the crabs! Image

Ah, I have a couple Es who don't believe in sleeping so I'm always used to one crab being out. Those barnacles are dope.

Funny! I wish my e's were like that! Thanks- they are super cheap at the beach shop! I think the second one I got at Richard's was reasonable
