He tries to be bashful, but I caught Fred playing on the new wheel last night

Fun! It's so cute to watch crabs on their wheels

The wheel is the best thing I've ever put in my tank. My crabs do all sorts of crazy things with it now but my favorite thing is that they have learn to take turns. It's fascinating to watch them patiently wait and switch out. Of course, there are times when a crab doesn't wait and those scuffles are interesting to watch as well.
Funny thing, they would not touch the hamster wheel at first. After several weeks I got impatient and put a crab on it myself. It was a like a lightbulb switched on and they suddenly knew what it was for.

That's great! So far only one of my three play on it, but he really seems to like it.
