Nice! I guess I know what you will be doing this weekend! That wasn't a bad price for a 55 at all. You can usually find them used on Craigslist for that price if you really search. Plus you don't have to really scrub to get the mineral deposits off. The stand is what they usually really get you on.

Did You get a glass lid for it? If not you can always make one out of plexiglass. I had a place near me cut one for my 75 with a big hole in the center for a UV light. I think it was about $30, would have been cheaper without the hole. you could probably make it pretty cheap if you have the right tools.

I’m actually going to store it for a bit and collect accessories for it over some time. I have some molters so Im not in a hurry to get it set up. Will give me time to plan it’s setup.

That’s what I thought! I’ll probably get a piece of Plexi cut like you said. I have plexi on my current one and it’s working. I’m not planning on setting it up soon ( have a couple molters) so I’ll have time to get her stuff and plan the layout.

The sales usually last a month, but once they sell out of a size they don't normally get more in. The biggest tanks go the fastest, and not all stores carry the 75s.

Gosh, I really want to go and get a 75... Wonder if the van will be back from the shop soon enough....
