Is it possible or has any one dealt with their crabs not liking the sand they have ?
My crab use to dif around alot .. etc .. I changed his tank and sand completely and he hasnt dug around at all ... was wondering if it's possible that he just doesnt like that sand and wont dig at all in it ...

What kind of sand is it? It may be that the crab just doesn’t feel the need to dig. Mine only dig when they’re ready to molt.

Quikrete play sand ..
Others have okayed it just worried he hasnt dug around at all

He is probably just comfortable living on the surface. Since I have moved mine over to our 29gal tank they have only dug one small hole, I’m not sure which one did it. Two of mine live in the moss pit and two others live in our cholla wood.

Ya did get him new wood and hes been on that alot !
