I just recently bought one for my main tank. The humidty continues to register up in the 90's, which I think is inaccurate. Is there some way that I can test to see if it's reading correctly?
It is rather easy for your tank to stay in the 90s with humidity. I have to crack my lid about an inch all the across the tank during the night time since the humidity is higher with the lights off. During the daytime I have to crack the lid maybe 1/2 inch, if that much. Also, those wal-mart digital thermometer/hydrometers do not go past 89% humidity. When they get to 90% they say HI. So you may have a different one than the rest of us.
