Ok. I may try a small spot and see what happens.I felt bad for my daughter today, poor thing, she got her first face wax done today. She had a bad uni-brow and been trying to take care of it herself which wasn't working very well and she was getting a mustache. So after some thought I figured it would be better in the long run to go get it done. Fortunately my cousin does hair and facial waxing so she got her hair trimmed up short and now looks more normal with 2 brows and no mustache. I know the brow thing is going to be inherited and a constant battle, but I'm hoping the mustache thing is more of a teen hormone thing (she'll be 12yrs in October).

@jenok, not to get to personal but it sounds like puberty to me, she's old enough now to be starting and if what I know of the subject is any indicator she's going to have a lot of physical changes that she's just not going to like.During puberty boys and girls body's start to produce insanely high levels of estrogen and testosterone which causes boys to sometimes develop small breasts if they are producing too much estrogen and girls can often experience hair growth in areas they don't want it due to a very high production of testosterone. We can attribute this to a lot of the growth hormones used in our cattle, chickens and fish which when ingested on a regular basis serve to throw our natural chemistry out of balance and has been proven to cause extremely early and exaggerated puberty in young adolescents.I've seen young girls when I was in school who were ten and eleven already developing breasts and looking five years older than they really were, our school system even participated in a volunteer study by the FDA and CDC to find out if the growth hormones in our food had anything to do with this and they proved that yes these growth hormones were the catalyst and were responsible for some very undesired physical changes like Gynecomastia(female breast growth) in young boys.

@jenok , I'm on my Kindle and I just searched Leslie sansone and all her vids came up and played. I know I have been on a comp and someone messed with it and the vids wouldn't load. It was just a black hole.

@crabberI think that is what is causing her mustache but i'm sure the uni brow she'll always have due to the fact that both myself and her father have them. She has had a pretty severe case of zits for the last few years since 8 or 9 but just started her cycle late summer last year. Since she's had the zits for so long and she has a few other allergic reaction type problems I plan on taking her to the dermatologist sometime in the next few months and see if they think its puberty or something else causing her zit problem and what they suggest cuz I've tried quite a few different products on her face for the zits. Hopefully they can help with her allergic reaction too. Took me 2 years to convince her primary doctor too do the referral she need to go to one.@laurie since we were having computer problems that might be it. I was able to get other videos so just thought that they had removed them. I'll have to try again now that we have a better system. Well I went for my check up Monday and I did gain some weight which I figured 2-3lbs wouldn't be too bad. I was close I gained 4 so i'll just have to hold my soda pop and candy cravings back. I think i'm going to see if I only buy regular water and flavored carbonated water and no pop for myself or Haley so I can eliminate most of my pop intake. I tried doing flavor water for me and a mix for Haley and then I tend to snitch some of her pop. I don't know if that will work yet since my hubby and mom have to have their pop so I may revert to snitching some of theirs we'll just have to wait and see.

@jenok, I'm allergic to chocolate cant really touch the stuff without breaking out, my mother had to take me to the skin doctor to find out what was causing my acne because my pediatrician couldn't and when the skin doctor got to looking around he figured it out after I'd been on three different treatments, he asked me to lay off of the chocolate milk and candy for two weeks to see if my skin condition improved and it did almost instantly after that I have had to stay away from chocolate.Your daughter could very well be suffering from a similar food allergy or it could be caused by her hormones being so out of balance.

I've heard of that but so far no one in the family has that specific allergy. She doesn't eat chocolate or candy very often maybe like once a week, but you saying chocolate milk made me think she may be drinking that for lunch everyday. My mom has a lot of allergies so I think they will just have to test her for different ones. I think she is allergic to a metal or mineral found in water cuz the longer she is in the water she gets out with her hands and feet itching relly bad but doesn't really have a rash show up.

@jenok, my sister-in-law does that when she is in pool water that has been over treated with chlorine, it tends to make her hands and feet itch but she doesn't present with a rash or raised bumps of any sort. The last time she and my brother went on vacation with us she had a pretty strong reaction to the chlorine in the hotel swimming pool and had to take a Benadryl to stop it and the pool didn't even have the slightest hint of chlorine coming from it which makes me wonder if the companies that make pool chemicals have changed something in their liquid chlorine because I was in the same pool the next year we went back while the pool guy treated the water and cleaned the floor and walls with a scrub brush and I never had a reaction and I know for a fact that he'd poured some liquid chlorine into the water and applied three different powdery substances that were supposed to correct the PH, Chlorine, Alkalinity and so forth.I even asked him if I needed to get out of the water while he treated the pool and he said no because his company was using a swim safe formula on all of their chemicals that meant that people could be in the water as it was being treated without any risks.I've also noticed a lot of the do it yourself pool chemicals sold at places like Wal*Mart and K-Mart are a lot less concentrated than they used to be and some of the brands even advertise right on the bottles that they can be used while swimmers are in the water...As far as the chocolate milk goes, I used to drink that every day for lunch and would follow up with a chocolate candy bar to keep my blood sugar stabilized for the rest of the day so not only was I eating something I shouldn't have been but I was also overdosing on it.

Our water is well water and isn't treated with chlorine. It has happened with lake water and pool water but for some reason not usually as much/often. The last year it hasn't happened as often at home either making me think its something that changes in the water such as the amount of a metal or mineral present in the water. Even the time she is in doesn't really seem to matter anything longer than washing her hands can set it off. Sometimes longer and sometimes shorter we've also thought about different soaps and tried hypoallergenic, perfume free, ect... The doc told us it could be dry skin but lotion didn't help either neither would anti itch creams.

@jenok, that sounds an awful lot like contact dermatitis, I have a very mild case of it only one thing really does it and that's latex, I can't get near it to save my life.I went to school with a girl who had it pretty severely, she couldn't touch anything metal and like me the anti-itch creams and meds did nothing to stop the reaction the only thing we found to work was prednazone which is a steroid often used with Asthmatics.I'm in no way a medical professional just been through a lot so I know a little from experience.lolSince she appears to have this reaction in untreated water as well as treated pool water it sounds more like water based contact dermatitis which may or may not present with the red raised lesions associated with a rash which makes treating the condition a little more problematic because there are two forms of this water allergy one is histamine based meaning that her body produces the protein histamine in response to what it see's as an attack, the other type of reaction is a non-histamine based and does not respond to anti-histamine aka anti-itch creams. From what I've read it sounds like she's experiencing the non-histamine based reaction type so traditional or conventional anti-histamine treatments wont work. One diy remedy that springs to mind is using apple cider vinegar on a cotton pad rub a little on the effected area that should help to reduce the itchiness, I know this works for poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, jelly fish stings and even some spider bites the acid base in the vinegar apparently neutralizes the toxins that cause the itch and burn but it will make your skin stink.lol

I haven't heard of the apple cider vinegar treatment before so i'll have to try that next time. Like I said lately it isn't happening very often only once that I can recall since January. My mom is allergic to cobalt witch is in a lot of metal objects, but it only bothers her with continuous contact. She can eat using a regular fork or spoon but if she goes to hand wash say a days worth of dishes and utensils it bothers her.
