My current setup

Post by Krusty2015 » Wed Jan 13, 2016 9:07 pm

This is my current setup Image Would it be ok to remove the other hut to the left? They seem to like the hut to the right and both are snuggled up in it every day.

Depending on the number of crabs you have, you might want to leave that hut, that way each crab has its own little hide to go. Sometimes they'll love each other and other times they want to become true hermits.

It's hard to tell from the angle, but it looks like the one on the right is near/next to the heater? I've had hermies that enjoy cuddling up to the heater and will often sleep near it, others that enjoy the cold. Could be that your hermies are enjoying the warmth from the UTH.

(Leaving the other one in there will give them the option to hide, but also choose where they want to hide in a cooler/warmer area.)

One is next to the heater it's hard to get a good angle the pic definitely doesn't do the crabitat justice! [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES] I noticed last night one decided to go into the other hut.
