Cleaning the tank and saw this! A cave fell in.

The crab in it was crawling on the service a day ago. (Jeffy) But he dug up from the bottom of the tank somehow. You can see him in there. Waiting too see them any other time other than the 4 am hour.
Day 20.

The past week or so i added a plant and my largest crab was out for two or 3 nights. But now the tank is quiet. No surface disturbance . I think they are hunkered down for a molt. And now we play the waiting game....

Im gonna start to worry and fret just like the rest of them.
New hygrometer thermometer I'm pretty stoked about. its got cords to keep it out of the tank and it's pretty darn accurate AND it was only like 12 bucks on amazon

The only picture of one of my crabs I have so far. He seems in good health colorations on his body range from purple white and orange some hair but not on the front of his legs. My four are all slightly different sizes so I think I'm well suited for Shell hand-me-downs I don't think this one has a name yet (open to suggestions) and I believe he is the second to largest



What I have seen of my crabs is just them slowly moving walking on their fingertips but last night this guy stretched out and man thier legs can stretch. Look more like a tarantula spider thing. I'm all thinking how the heck do these things even climb so well and then I see the stretched legs and im all ddaaaaannngg...

My hubby is creeped out by my hermies cuz he says they look like "spiders in a shell" lol
