Two new additions

After the unfortunate and mysterious death of Sebastian, I got Herman two new friends over the weekend. They are so tiny and cute! I didn't think to take pictures at first and they have mostly been hiding and digging, and running to the food dishes a couple times a day lol. Image
They were both wearing those matching shells and it looks like sometime last night one chose a pretty green turbo :) Haven't bothered trying to name them yet because I really don't know who is who lol.
Had to place an order for some little shells for them to make sure there is an ample selection for the two.Image
One of them also likes to frequent the front glass and wave to me, almost like saying thank you for saving me from Petco lol. Adorable little things! ImageImage

Nice to see healthy crabs with all their limbs coming from Petco...the Petcos in my area have abysmal set-ups and none of the crabs (all painted shells) ever look alive!

Our Petco has a decent setup for hermits.

Our Petco has a decent setup for hermits.
Same here but they sell them weird, small, medium, large and "fancy" all in separate tanks. Small medium large are natural shell with different prices and fancy are all painted shells.
The ones I chose seem pretty healthy but unfortunately all tanks had an array of dead, not so healthy looking ones :(
