New tank temperatures

Post by Veritasx626 » Sat Jan 11, 2020 5:11 pm

So two days ago I upgraded from a 10 gallon to a 29 gallon.
My temps were a little low but have balanced out. Right now on the opposite corner of where the heat pad is my thermometer ranges from 71-74 °F the one i have right above the pads reads 90°F. Im going to get another thermometer tonight and put it somewhere between the two.

Should I be worrying if the coldest corner is reading so low? My crabs arent acting really any different and are just as active

No, the cooler area is fine. Its good to have some temp variation, so crabs can choose if they want to bd warm or cold.

Ok good, I was thinking it would be ok but wanted to make sure with some experienced crabbers first.
