Hope this is not too late but if it's just general hermit crab care tips I'm happy to dump down a few of my thoughts
- literally so easy to panic and dig up a molting crab even when people say not to bc you're *sure* something is wrong but like DON'T. Maybe you're right and they've passed in which case you can't really do a ton anyway. Or they're still molting and you directly harm them.
- for shells and even just in general Etsy is your friend. Lots of different hermie stuff on there hehe
- no tap water. I mean technically you can dechlorinate but you never know if it might have something in it. Which I mean if so, also not great for humans but crabbies are tiny so every drop of water can affect em more so they're sensitive
- crabbies almost never need to leave the tank despite many resources saying you do need take em out to clean. It's actually bad for them unless you live somewhere humid etc. Also don't bathe them they clean themselves and balance brackish water
- however you might want to dip in some tank water after quarantining when they're new to avoid fights over the foreign smell
