You have no idea how tempted I am to go out and get them right now!

Thanks! I actually had the hubby do the shell washing, and he forgot the salt, so that worked out! I'll keep that in mind in the future. The dishes get about 3 inches deep. The crabs I'm getting won't be big - I want to start with smaller ones. I eventually would like to build bigger pools of my own...

I also forgot! Not pictured are my new shells from Naples Sea Shell Company. Talk about a great deal, fast shipping and beautiful shells. I have them boiling in salt Water as we speak!

Agreed with the above posts! It's nice to see your enthusiasm. But, unfortunately, 10 gallon tanks hardly last long enough to be adequate in space. Smaller crabs grow so quickly. I'd recommend an upgrade. Maybe to a 29 gallon.. Any chance you could swing that? Then you could add a few more crabs! Jeff

I agree with GB.. I haven't found smaller crabs to be any more challenging.

In fact, in all my years of crabbing, the larger crabs have been the ones giving me trouble.
