I hope that the little guy makes it. He looks so tiny. HUGS! I think you are doing everything you can do for him!
Thank you!

Good luck! I mentioned this in the other post, but usually when they are active in the store they are already in distress. Best wishes! HUGS!

Re: Show Me Your Water Dishes & Pools!

These are our newer guys coming out of the pools. The FW is the bigger pool on the left and the MSW is the smaller one on the right. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180819/24160b10312cda46cbceaa57b8d165a2.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I was thinking of using rocks in mine as well. Best way to catch flies in tat?

I was just staring in the tat and I noticed a little fly just a bit bigger than a fruit fly so I’m thinking it’s a gnat landed on my little iso Tupperware I have in the tat[emoji50] What is the best way to trap these guys? I have in the past used sticky traps used for plants and I just ordered anoth...

Re: New hermie not responding

It sounds like you're doing everything ok. Sometimes, even if we give them perfect conditions, they can't overcome PPS. They go through so much before they get to us. But for future reference, when introducing new crabs, just a quick dip in the pool is sufficient. Thank you! I just wanted to make s...

Shelly is cute!! I love his taste in shells [emoji16] I’m not sure if bigger hermies r more resilient than the smaller ones but I am assuming so? TFS!

Thanks guys! So far nothing has changed. He hasn’t moved or changed positions really since we took him out of the tank from Petsmart :(

New hermie not responding

Hey guys! I already posted this in another feed here but thought maybe it would be more appropriate as an emergency. So I already have an established colony of 4 hermies for over a year and possibly 2 years now (I’ve lost count), all have molted numerous times. Went out to Petsmart this evening beca...

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180819/e313e37ba391d7836bfdcf6d54fe1fe6.jpg I took Larry out of the FW. Still no response and flaccid. I moved his legs and pinchers, I got nothing. But I feel like it’s too early to give up so I made a little iso with a spare Tupperware I had, put some sub in the...

It’s been a little over an hour and the little guy has not even moved a leg. I have taken him out and put him in a separate container. He is completely flaccid [emoji22]
