growing a little chia in crabitat?

ive been digging around online and seen people not only use it as a food source for their crabs but also as decoration!
what do you guys think?
i was thinking about having a tiny glass bowl buried to surface level and plant chia seeds in it.

I get my play sand from home depot for 2.80 and Lowes, it's just called play sand and is very common. is there any brand of play sand i should avoid?

ive always had eco earth in my tank without any problems, but now i want to have a mix of play sand! to raise humidity and to make my crabby more happy to dig!

i want your opinion! where do you buy your play sand and is there anything i should avoid?

Is Canadian Crab Connection still open? It's really hard to send food items from the US to Canada. There are strict laws about what plants are permitted, and not a lot is allowed through. i dont think this is the correct spot to post this but i figured maybe someone would know here, every online shop ive visited has extreme shipping costs to canada, ($20-$33 shipping) just for a small amount of homemade food.
