What to do with molding moss?

Post by Maddamay32 » Sun Jun 23, 2019 10:27 pm

Should I freeze it? Microwave it? Dry it out? Rinse it? Put it in the oven?

My crabs love their moss, but because I keep their humidity so high, it becomes covered in mold. I know the crabs are not bothered too much, but I am. What should I do?

I would personally get rid of it and replace it with fresh.

You could attempt to remove just the moldy areas as well.

Be sure to check that the crabs did not carry food off into the moss creating the mold too.
