Misting bottle ~ question

Post by rufeelinitnowmrkrabs » Mon Jan 28, 2019 3:25 am

So, I bought a plant mister from Walmart quite some time ago. I noticed it smelt awfully of plastic. So I let it sit in hot water (for a few days) with a tiny bit of soap, hoping to get the smell out

The smell isn’t as bad anymore, but still isn’t to my likings. So I haven’t used it yet

Question: is this smell/bottle harmful? Should it be avoided?
(There’s no writing on the bottle)

I personally would not use that bottle and buy a new, less smelly, bottle to use. You can usually find them pretty cheap at most stores. Better safe than sorry.
