Well, actually, you're right and wrong. Athelas is a female but I just double checked and this is not her! Oops! It's one of the boys, Chunk I believe, due to the attitude he gave me for checking. :lol: :oops: I could have swore it was her due to the pretty pinks. She was the only one in there with this coloring but obviously that changed. :D

CallaLily, not only are your crabs gorgeous but the quality of the pictures you post is amazing! I've never even seen one of my crabs in that much detail holding him right in front of my eyes :lol: !

Thank you. I got lucky though! I just snapped a bunch of pics in a row and one of them was that one. It helps that he sat still the whole time.

Chunk is such a cute name..... Squiggy was the best name I've ever thought of :anon:

Chunk is from the Goonies. When we adopted him there was also an E with one eye. My son picked the name One-Eyed Willy for him so I carried the theme over with Chunk.

@CallaLily, do you do something special to keep your crabs colors so unique, every crab I see of your has something so distinct about their exo.

I don't do anything specifically to boost color. I do try to feed them as much variety as I can - though more to keep them healthy ... I really don't think it affects their coloring much.
