Deco background and UTH?

Hey everyone! My name is Romana.

I just started obsessing over crabs and have 2 who will be upgrading into a 55 gallon soon! I cant stop thinking about the upgrade :P

So here is my first question.
I'm going to buy the 11 x 47 ultretherm pads but I also was to apply a decorative sticky background thingy.
Will it affect the heat of the tank? Or melt or de-stick it?
I am planning on insulating the pad as well.
I thought I saw someone on here have a background sticker and the UTH but have only seen one person do it.

Welcome to the HCA! With the clinging backgrounds, they are safe according to the Tumbler user HERMIT CRABS 101. They said it is best to put it on the outside of the tank though, so they can't rip it up and eat it.
my mom takes care of my crabs now cause im planning college B)
