There were 3 out this afternoon. I took these shots on my phone.
This is the biggest baby. Now 19mths old. My thumb just near it to show scale.

The 3rd is still in a very small shell. Doesn't seem to want to change although there are heaps to choose from. There are 3 or 4 in this sort of shell. The mesh is 1cm square gutter guard so you can tell how small this one is.

The little one in the striped shell changed last night into a babylonian. Well I think it was that one but I can't remember if it was zigzag (named for shell) or some other one in a striped shell that is in the photo.

Number One has absolutely done a moult. Look how well it’s filling that huge shell now. Also note hairy legs and sharp black toes.

Same crab in same shell in July (6 months later) looking like it almost needs a bigger shell. I added a couple today.

Dotti enjoying some prawn shell. Not babies any more at 21months. Time has flown by. I’m going to get a large male shortly. Discovered for certain Mango is female a week or so back. Think I lost my male last season so will get another and hopefully get some more babies.
