diy waterfall?
I was thinking about adding a small waterfall into my 25 gallon tank next time I redecorate, but most of the ones I have found have bad reviews, are too large, or are too expensive. I was thinking just a water pump with rocks glued around it and a pool at the bottom, but not sure if that will work because of trying to attach the rocks and safe/unsafe glue. Does anyone know how to make a diy one that's not super expensive that is climbable and not too strong for a hermit crab? if so, I would be grateful for the advice.
thanks

I'd recommend silicone! You can buy tubes of it fairly cheap almost anywhere, just make sure it's aquarium grade, and you might want to let it dry off outside the tank as it gives off fumes, as well as won't stick as well in the humidity in the tank!
There are rocks with three holes that my crabs LOVE to climb, they're super textured so thay helps too! Here's a link! These are the best I can find online, but the ones I have are real stone and heavy, the hollowed out inside with 3 exits

Re: diy waterfall?
thank you so much! this helps a lot and I am super excited to get started with a new project for my hermits
edit- also does it matter which water pump I use? I know some will be better than others but not sure if some types are not recommended.

Of course! I'm not fully sure, I just use this small 5 gallon one from Amazon, here's the link,
https://www.amazon.ca/NICREW-Aquarium-S ... 150&sr=8-4
And its worked great for me! I have two for my water dishes , one per dish, and they've worked really well for the 7 months I've had them, and if you need to replace the filter us these little carbon filters for coffee makers, (it's what worked for me!)
https://www.amazon.ca/12-Pack-Cuisinart ... _ba_s_1_sc
These are what fit, though you can always try to get a better deal!
