Any updates on the tank? Always look forward to seeing it, it's my inspiration of my 90G.
Thanks for reminding me. I meant to post a picture of the tank as well. I haven't made any changes lately. However, I may be radically changing the pools within the next couple months.

No real design flaw. I knew from the start that the pools would function for about six months before the seals started to degrade and leaks would show up. There's currently a very, very slow leak in the fresh pool insert and overall the sealant is just becoming a bit loose in places, even though it's still holding. I don't know if I want to do the repairs or try a new pool system.

Since I've got to do a deep clean within the next month or two, I may be changing the pools by doing something similar to my current setup but using large kritter keepers to hold the water. If I change things I'll be sure to post about it.

I really don't like glass and don't want to work with it. I've gotten cut too many times before. Once I was carrying a 20 gallon aquarium and it shattered in my arms. Now I have a glass phobia.

im still trying to decide, Sugar ( i feel funny calling you sugar..lol) After seeing the lovely blueberries you have i think that is what im going to go for. If i go with indos i think i might set up a different tank for my violas. I hear they like to dig up molters and indos molt very close to the surface. Spring is coming, i so cant wait to add to my crabatat. Id love to see more photos!

In the future feel free to call me Elizabeth.

Blueberries are great but I've found them to be the most bully-ish and territorial of all the species I have. Mine have never attacked another crab, but they do monopolize the food dish and flick other crabs of of their way. That behavior might be because my blueberries are pretty large.

I've had my Indos and violas together in the same tank since last July. I've never had any problems with them being together and never the slightest signs of aggression or molt disruption. Lots of good molts from both species. I guess everyone has different experiences.

Good to know. Maybe multi food dishes will be needed if I do go with blueberries..
Multi tanks too..lol.. or just go bigger? Im still not sure exactly what i want to do.
I love seeing your photos. I know from the first time i saw them i wanted a Pink Indo.

My viola that was missing a leg came up from her molt with a new one and im so happy to see that. So far from what I have he violas are my favorite.

I love the different little faces and colors of rugs but im not ready to do a "rug only " tank and ive been told that like the aussies they should be in a tank alone...:-( they do have such a cute face and so colorful

Id love to see more photos!

My rugs have done amazingly well in the 90 gallon community tank. They're healthy and active, if a little shy. It seems like Bob is more and more advocating that the species be kept separate. Personally, I haven't found that there's a need for that separation.

If you get very large blueberries I would recommend watching them closely and having a second feeding station on hand to put in the tank in case your blues are piggies.

My pink indo is so pretty and a really nice crab. Unfortunately, she's a nighttime crab and usually only comes out in the late evening. I have another regular Indo who has a wonderful personality and he's out and about during the day, takes food from my hand, and not fearful of me at all.

Sugar (Agreed with suebee~LOL) the pictures are great and the crabs are beautiful. I am hoping I am identifying the correct crabbie, Tokoyo, the large blueberry is just stunning. I don't really know anything about Blueberries and I find yours fascinating. :hello2:
