Help with Microclimate EVO

Hello!

Has anyone got any experience with a Microclimate EVO?

I recently received mine and straight out of the box I plugged it on and the screen lit up but it is totally not responsive to my touch.

I bought this online and before I return to them and have them send me a new one which is going to take a month, I just want to make sure that I am not doing anything wrong, like being stuck in the "lock mode" or something.

Can anyone shed some light?

I will admit that this is a new product for me, but from the video, it looks like it might be a manufacturer's malfunction? I would (a) do a few internet searches on Microclimate EVOs not working to see if it's a common product with an easy fix, and if not, (b) contact the manufacturer.
