Jan 12 we rescued/adopted 11 crabs from 3 different locations. Most went down to molt almost immediately. This one resurfaced this morning. He has very long and droopy attennae and they are a light brown. He has Tufts of hair on his big claw and has hairy legs! The molt was successful and he's different from all the others. I haven't named him yet. I want to observe his attitude and behavior first.

He is gorgeous, he has such beautiful coloring. Those big strong hairy legs, I love it! I love that picture, it’s perfect.

Now I'm waiting for the other 8! It will be a big surprise to see how the grew and changed. We didn't get to spend lot of time with them when we brought them home, so it will be like discovering new crabbies! It will be exciting!

I sure will! Our 2 largest crabs went down last week, so it could be months til they come up.
