Under construction!
Picture of their current 15 gallon (I had 2 in a 10 gallon- once I got a third we went to a15 gallon) but 2 are big crabs so I found a 40 gallon for $30! Just put in egg crate and working on sand/ee mix tonight. Purchased a long ultratherm uth today also for back of 40 gal. I've only had crabs since november. I've been learning a lot. Thanks everyone for your help! I'll post pics as I continue to work on their upgrade over my winter break.

I love it! Very inspiring, as I've been looking for more ideas for climbing and hides.

Thank you! They really like hiding under the shell shop (I think bc it's dark and against the heater lol)DevilNDisguise wrote:I love it! Very inspiring, as I've been looking for more ideas for climbing and hides.

Oh wow! Aren't they addicting? You're tank is so cute I'm almost sad you're moving them . I can tell you've been reading the DIY page lol.
What a steal on that 40 gallon btw, very lucky. Also I wanted to ask if the kids are still enjoying the crabs or if they've gotten bored already?

The kids still think it's interesting. They like the upgrades lol thinking about being a cam to set up once the 40 gal is done so they can watch them

Re: Under construction!
That's exciting. I've been wanting to add a camera to my habitat as well. My 75g is on the floor and I keep most of the tank covered with a blanket to reduce some stress of seeing the outside world, so I don't know what's going on in there unless I sit on the floor and pry my way in. I'd love to know what they're up to during the night hours, especially!PeekaBoo2013 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2019 3:45 pmVery addicting:) yes when I saw it for sale I snatched it quick! Re: Under construction!
Picture update added a shelf and spider wood. Pretty much waiting on the new long uth to come in the mail before I start moving stuff from their current home. Once I can do that I can deepen the substrate on the right side with current substrate too
